Welcome to Methodist Church Sri Lanka. It began as a revival movement within the Church of England in the early 18th century. It constituted part of the greater 'Evangelical Revival'

 
 

The Christian Education Committee became functional in September 2009, following the decision of the Annual Conference, 2009. Though the committee is still at infancy stage, it has grown to be an important part of the life of the total church.

           Activities:

  • Christianity teachers in state schools
  • Vocational Bible Schools
  • Wanni Region – G.C.E. (O/L) & (A/L) Classes
  • Sunday School teacher training programme
